The new and original Spock are here in San Diego. Paramount panel just started and JJ Abrams and Star Trek will not be upfor a while. There is also a new teaser poster.More soon. (reporting via iPhone)

Love the new poster. Totally sells the Star sizzle without the Trek.

I have just seen the new poster– I love the full-on retro look! I really appreciate Abrams’ embracing of the 60’s style thus far. Let’s see what he comes up with next.

#22 I like the new poster just fine. Has a nice retro look about it, even though the font is somewhat different from the original Trek lettering.

Some other sites are reporting that Abrams is still trying to figure out a way to get Shatner into the script and that a young Kirk has not been cast yet.

Well the poster is certainly promising. Another sign that they’ll be embracing the style of the original series rather than any feared “reboot” type thing.
